The Auto Union 1000 Sp (Sp stands for ‘special’ and not, as is often assumed, for the word ‘sport’) was a two-seater sports coupé or two-seater roadster.
The 1000 Sp was unveiled at the 1957 IAA and manufactured by Baur in Stuttgart from 1958 to 1965. A total of 5,004 coupés were produced.
